David Schertler Moderates Distinguished Panel on the Politicization of Criminal Justice at the Cosmos Club

On September 27, 2024, Schertler Onorato Mead & Sears partner David Schertler served as the moderator for a dynamic panel discussion on the “politicization” of the criminal justice system. The panel consisted of attorneys Abbe Lowell, Jim Trusty, and Brandon Van Grack, as well as NPR Justice Department Correspondent Carrie Johnson. These accomplished panel members shared a wide range of perspectives on politicization based on their personal involvement in, and reporting on, high-profile and politically sensitive government investigations and prosecutions. The panel was part of a non-partisan forum co-sponsored by Schertler Onorato Mead & Sears and held at the Cosmos Club in Washington, D.C.
