S&O Resolves High-Profile Assault Charges Against Chris Brown


SEPTEMBER 2014

Danny Onorato and Stuart Sears resolve criminal assault charges filed against recording artist Chris Brown. Mr. Brown received a sentence of time–served following his guilty plea to one count of misdemeanor simple assault in the District of Columbia Superior Court. Mr. Onorato addressed the court on Mr. Brown’s behalf and successfully argued in favor of the time–served sentence. In a statement following the proceeding, Mr. Onorato called the resolution a “fair” one that will permit Mr. Brown to refocus on his career and the release of his new “X” album.
